Meet some of the team
Our staff are our biggest asset. We invest in them, both in work and out of it, as we believe a happy workforce is the key to a successful business. We aim to constantly empower the people who work for us through training and professional development.
Tom is MD of Trinity Scientific & the DDD Group. He trained as an accountant with Ernst & Young and worked in strategy for Sainsbury’s taking over at the helm of DDD (the family of companies Trinity belongs to).
As MD, Tom is responsible for setting and achieving strategic objectives and building for the future. He is passionate about Trinity’s corporate culture, viewing happy staff and a positive workplace as key to effective customer service as well as returns for shareholders.
As commercial manager, Sha’s role is to create opportunities and build partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
He worked in various roles at LGC before being scouted to head up Trinity Scientific.
Outside of work, Sha relaxes by playing backgammon or football and confesses to being a dab hand in the kitchen. He also enjoys travelling, particularly in the USA.
David Baker is a stability analyst who has been involved in analytical testing for over 20 years. His work at Trinity involves testing products for new formulations and conducting ongoing stability trials.
When he’s not being passionate about the practical aspect of analytical chemistry, David enjoys the practical aspects of travelling.
David works as a stability analyst. Prior to joining Trinity, he held roles at Pfizer Biotech Dublin and GSK Stevenage.
Out of the office and unengaged from analysis, David enjoys working out at the gym and attending Zumba classes.
Desi works as an analytical chemist. She joined Trinity Scientific having previously held roles at AstraZeneca and MSD. Highly organised, her work at Trinity is focused on method development and validation as well as finished product and raw material testing.
When not bending backwards to deliver top class analysis, Desi enjoys bending backwards, sideways and upside down in Yoga classes..
Liam works in method development and validation as well as finished product and raw material testing.
He trained as an analytical chemist, building up experience in method development through roles with Ranbaxy, Pfzier and MSD, before joining Trinity.
Away from laboratory testing, Liam is enthusiastic about testing out new recipes in the kitchen, and is particularly handy when it comes to baking.
John manages the laboratory and technical department. He held various roles at GSK before joining Trinity, amassing 20 years experience of working with a range of analytical methods. He manages the Trinity Scientific quality system and heads up laboratory projects.
When John is not getting down to the nitty gritty of lab management, he enjoys indulging his passion for travel.
Thilanka has a wide range of experience in the industry and cherishes a challenging and competitive work environment. He is focussed on our Batch Release work and is an excellent commuicator.
He's a family man with a keen interest in cricket but never throws a curve ball.
Ricardo joins us from Bristol laboratories. He has been recruited as a QC analyst and is involved in day to day lab testing which includes batch release as well as stability. While studying, Ricardo spent his summer breaks working for the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
When he is not releasing batches for Trinity, he enjoys club rowing which helps him keep in shape, as he has a fondness for junk food! We dare anyone to take him on with a food challenge…
Prior to joining Trinity Hajrah worked for Boots Healthcare. She came to us as a post graduate and is hungry to put what she has learnt in her studies into practise. She is an excellent QC analyst and tests samples on stability, raw materials and generics.
Out of the office she loves cooking and baking, and makes a mean carrot cake that gives Liam a run for his money. She also enjoys sewing and is a big fan of TV soaps.
Jessica is an experienced raw materials analyst having handled in-process, finished products and stability samples at Percuro Medica Ltd. She joined us to help take on an increasing volume of work and to develop her ski.
Outside the demanding lab environment she enjoys a dip in the local swimming pool, playing badminton and unleashing her creative talents through drawing, bridal henna art and Indian dancing.
Emma joined the Trinity QC team after a year at Bristol Laboratories and is working on batch release and stability testing, and her keen eye for detail is a real asset. She has good knowledge and practical experience in a variety of analytical techniques. When she’s not at work she volunteers as a conservation assistant in Buckinghamshire, loves reading, arts and crafts, cooking and going to the gym.
Ceci is an accomplished chemist with a Masters in Analytical-Inorganic Chemistry. She joins us from Stansted Laboratories and her primary role is to work with the technical team to develop and validate methods.
She’s a keen runner but also enjoys putting her feet up and watching Made in Chelsea (a far cry from her Spanish and Catalan roots)!
Justin worked in a number of sales roles including selling own label Oral care products to major UK retailers, before joining the DDD Group. He has a successful track record of winning business from existing and new customers. His mantra is 'work hard, play hard' and he brings a refreshing new way of thinking to the Trinity sales team.
When he's not working hard he is playing hard and enjoying time with his two young sons, who keep him on his toes.
